BIG BROTHER/BIG SISTER SCHOOL BASED MENTOR!
Evergreen Elementary School and
Big Brothers/Big Sisters of Marathon County are currently seeking Mentors for
our school-based program. In school based mentoring, teachers refer youth
who could benefit from additional attention and guidance. Volunteers then
meet with referred youth one-on-one during the school day, for a minimum of one
hour per week. Volunteers commit to meeting with the child for one school
year and must limit their meetings to the school grounds and supervised school
or BBBS activities. Mentors and youth usually spend some time on
schoolwork, but they also engage in other activities, including sports, games,
reading and eating breakfast or lunch together. For more information,

| Greetings-my
name is Rick Koepke and it is my privilege to be principal at Evergreen
Elementary School. Here at Evergreen, we have a wonderful staff,
supportive parents, and an outstanding student body. Our staff is here to
help children learn and grow. We are also here to help parents with any
questions or concerns they might have. Please do not hesitate to contact
