Making The Grade DownloadsQuick start guide (Windows):
D.C. Everest teachers who would like to use Making The Grade (MTG) at home will need to download and install the program. You will also need a license file for your building. Links to the program download and license files are below. Even if you have MTG installed at home, you still need to install the newer versions when we upgrade in the district. The author of MTG software does not recommend running one version at school and a different version at home. It could damage your grade files. NOTE: These files are for the use of D.C. Everest Area School District employees ONLY. Use by any other individual constitutes copyright violation and may be reported to the author of the software. Now you can install copies for multiple schools on a single computer when using the Windows version. You need to give a different name for each folder and shortcut to each copy of MTG. A video demonstrating how to do this this is available here. (Remember you will need to upgrade each copy when the next version is released.) If you are going to install only a single copy of Making The Grade you can follow these installation instructions.
Installer for Windows version of MTG: (Note to modem users: The install file is approximately 3.5 Mb. It should take between 10 and 20 minutes to download the entire file depending on the speed of your modem.) NOTE: If you still have a licensed copy of MTG version 9 installed on your computer, you do not need to download new license files. Just install MTG v10 in the same directory (normally C:\MTG) and it will find the old license. A password is needed to download these license files. If you want to access Edline from MTG on your home computer, you will also need your school's Edline key. Both files should be saved or copied to the MTG install directory (which is normally C:\MTG )
